To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. Any correspondence within the Executive Office of Immigration Review at the Department of Justice regarding Family Units in removal proceedings, including: emails or other correspondence, memoranda, scheduling orders, or other guidance on FAMU designation, docketing for FAMU designated cases, treatment of FAMU cases in removal proceedings, or other issues related to "family units" or "FAMU" in removal proceedings.

2. All email messages to or from any EOIR employee mentioning family units, FAMU designation, or FAMU dockets between September 18, 2018 and February 19, 2019.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
