IDEA Settlement Agreements Involving Fort Zumwalt School District from March 1, 2016 to Present

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the The Missouri Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

The settlement agreements and resolution agreements entered into between Fort Zumwalt R-II School District and parents of children eligible or suspected to be eligible for special education and related serves under IDEA.
Pursuant to RSMO 610.214, "If a public record contains material which is not exempt from disclosure as well as material which is exempt from disclosure, the public governmental body shall separate the exempt and nonexempt material and make the nonexempt material available for examination and copying."
In response to your previous denials of my open records requests, I am seeking non-exempt records. I am requesting records with the FERPA protected personally identifiable student information redacted. My request does not breach student confidentiality, nor does it require parental release of minor student's information. My request is specific to Fort Zumwalt R-II School District and how it is spending taxpayer funds to resolve complaints made by parents under IDEA. The plain language of RSMO 610.214 does not preclude the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education from releasing the aforementioned agreements and resolutions with personally identifiable student information redacted.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
