From: Heather Dannyelle Thompson

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

There are a few records that I would request to be shared. Please find them below:

1. Database of citizen complaints (allegations of misconduct) made against your department’s officers annually for the last 10 years?
2. Administrative data of incidents of misconduct and displinary actions against officers. Data may come from the Criminal Justice Agency Profile (CJAP) surveys conducted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and/or the Automated Training Management Systems (ATMS). WE are interested in "moral character" violations as defined by the F.A.C. Rule 11B-27.0011.
3. Administrative data on other complaints such as use of force, abusive language, unwarranted search, etc, if these are not defined by the F.A.C. Rule 11B-27.0011 as 'moral character violations'.

Where possible please list the agency of the officer, the agency of the complaint data, the date, the zipcode referencing the incident, type of complaint (use of force, abusive language, unwarranted search, etc)

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

Sincerely,

Heather Dannyelle Thompson
