Ms Cadena-Smith,

I received the records you shared in response to my second follow-up, which I sent via email. I would greatly appreciate it if you could share those same records via this MuckRock account that was used to file the original request. Doing so would officially complete the present request and facilitate the process of making these records available to the general public, as was the original purpose of my request.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear Ms. Sanit,
Thank you for your request. Collin College does not conduct its own coronavirus or COVID-19 testing of students or employees and, therefore, the college's COVID-19 data is solely self-reported. Collin College's data includes self-reported information from some students (who are virtual learners) or some employees (who are teaching remotely) and are not necessarily currently located on/at our campuses, as you have requested. Collin College's data is not maintained by individual campuses because students may attend classes at more than one campus or instructional site. Collin College's data is not reported on the basis of a daily count. Pursuant to such preliminary information, the number of self-reported presumed positive cases or self-reported positive cases, as defined by Collin College, are listed below:
* August 1 to August 31, 2020 = 19 students / 3 employees
* September 1 to September 30, 2020 = 88 students / 0 employees
* October 1 to October 25, 2020 = 72 students / 12 employees

If you would like to for Collin College to provide this information broken down by each campus, please clarify and specify your request so that the college may provide you a written cost estimate, since we anticipate a cost in excess of $40 will be incurred.
Thank you,

Thank you for all your work, Ms Cadena-Smith. Since you explain that the college's data "is not maintained by individual campuses" I would assume that requesting it be broken down by campus would either be undoable or take too many valuable resources. At this time, I am satisfied with your response to the present open records request. Please feel free to mark it as completed.

Thank you again for your cooperation.

Danielle Sanit.
