From: Michael Morisy

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the state Freedom of Information Act, G.L.M. c.66, ยง10, I hereby request the following records:

Employee salary and vendor payment data from FY 2009-2012, in electronic format.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Michael Morisy

Mr. Morisy,

Massport is in receipt of your request for public records seeking:

Employee salary and vendor payment data from FY 2009-2012, in electronic format.

I have asked our Accounting Unit to provide me with the vendor payment information (name of vendor, date paid, amount paid). I am not sure how long this will take but there will be a charge if it will take significant time to compile your request.

I have payroll information for CY 08-11 on hand because it is regularly requested. If this information will satisfy the salary portion of your request, I can provide it to you today. If we have run the information based upon FY dates, there may be a charge and the response will be delayed.

Please let me know if you will accept the CY09-11 salary information.

Thank you.

Bill

Hoch, William would like to recall the message, "Follow up to Freedom of Information Request: Salary and vendor payment data".

From: Hoch, William

Tom,

The records I sent you have a couple of SS#'s in them. I tried to recall the e-mail because we should not be producing SS#'s. If the recall was not successful, can you please delete the files and I will resend them without the ss#'s.

Please confirm that this is acceptable.

Thank you.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for these. I'm not seeing any SS's so hopefully I got the right email. This request is embargoed right now so I'll check them more thoroughly before they're public.

Thanks

Tom

Tom,

The vendor sheets have EIN numbers. In a few places they are ss# because an individual is being paid. I am having IT rerun the report and trying to remove that field and put it in excel. Please do not post and make public the vendor information. The salary information is fine.

Tom,

I sent you the vendor data in excel and removed the ss# field and street address field. Can you please confirm that you deleted the .pdf vendor data I sent or confirm that you did not get it (I tried to recall the message).

The .pdf data contained social security numbers and employee home addresses. By law, I should not have released that personal data. If you delete it and confirm it will not be released, we will be all set. I would appreciate your agreeing to this.

Thank you.
