Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Motor vehicle violation citations both civil and criminal issued in the year 2019 by all law enforcement organizations, including the Massachusetts State Police and local agencies e.g. The Boston Police Department. I believe this data is held by the Merit Rating Board (MRB). In case it helps with routing this request, I note a similar request was made by another individual back in 2016 Case # 16-0513.
I request the data contain all fields found in the Massachusetts Uniform Citation that may be disclosed without personally identifying violators. I request that the data be provided in a flat file format e.g. Comma-separated Values (CSV) or Tab-separated Values (TSV). I have listed below the fields I am seeking. If some of these fields aren't in the electronic system, or increase the cost of retrieving the data dramatically, let's negotiate down to a subset. Also, if there are additional fields that I'm missing that exist in the same database tables and so are easily retrievable, please include those.
