Ms. Cook --

I'm writing to follow up on and to amend my October 27, 2022 request for records. Please amend that request to seek:

(1) A copy of any license plate recall letter sent since September 15, 2022; and

(2) A copy of any appeal of any license plate denial or recall received since September 15, 2022.

Finally, I do want to note that the initial request was submitted over four months ago. Maine's public records law requires, within a "reasonable time of receiving the request," a "good faith, nonbinding estimate of the time within which the agency or official will comply with the request, as well as a cost estimate" for the request.

Can you please provide me with the estimate of time and cost estimate for the first category of records and an acknowledgment of the amended request?

Thanks,

Adam Steinbaugh
