Los Angeles Sheriff's Department - Field Operations Directives

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am seeking information relating to the following Field Operations Directives (FODs) or Field Operations Support Services (FOSS) newsletters:

89-007 Prosecution of Street Gang Members
89-006 Gang Member Release Policy
10-001 Gang Injunctions
01-003 Proposition 21 Gang Registration
FOSS-21-15 Field Interview Cards

For each of these FOD or FOSS newsletters I am seeking:

1. The date that the new policy was implemented and issued.
2. The date that the old policy that was replaced (if applicable) was first implemented.
2. A copy of the previous policy that was replaced (if applicable) by the current policy in place, including any old copies of the Field Interview cards and when they were discontinued.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
