Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

A copy of all briefs, memos, directives, PowerPoint slides, guidelines or other documents concerning the Los Angeles countering violent extremism (CVE) program.

A copy of all emails, letters, and other written communication between the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and other governmental partners concerning CVE.

You can restrict your search to records created after January 1, 2013 to the date this request is processed.

According to the Los Angeles CVE Framework available on the Department of Homeland Security's website, the Interagency Coordination Group leading CVE efforts has worked to increase " coordination and community access" to governmental partners such as Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
