Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All emails, all written correspondence, LAUSD representatives exchanged with FBI pertaining to a claim and the investigation of a claim published in Venice Senior High's The Oarsman in an article titled "FBI Investigating Predators Targeting Online Accounts of Venice Students", published March 05, 2021.

The link to the specific claim of cyber crime is below.

This request includes any correspondence sent in reply and any possible initial messages sent by FBI to LAUSD in regards to a claim or any suspicion inspiring the following article in question:

As such, the claim that individuals received solicitation for money, images, in a way that constitutes a crime was committed, communication records to local law enforcement, private investigators, FBI employees/agents/contractors should be provided, whatsoever record exists.
To successfully provide your record of messages exchanged between LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) and FBI agents, employees, IC3, any contractor, investigator, police officer, names of any known victims proven to be a minor should be redacted sequentially as needed to provide the compiled records to the public.

In regards to the investigation detailed within the article referenced:
-I additionally request record of websites where alleged victim's accounts were located, and where accounts were searched for, and by whom. I am requesting record of when the accounts were accessed during an investigation, and when the accounts ceased being accessed totally by investigators. It would prove helpful to know when passwords were exchanged and how by providing correspondence record as they pertain.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Scans in PDF format of the complete manual for software or all methods of payment transmittal. For instances where schools or the District (LAUSD) pays contractors, day laborers, vendors, in person or by mail I request documents scanned to PDF format displaying standard operating protocols, requirements, procedures as well. This should be done on a school by school basis with point of contact, and where all necessary by Department with point of contact."

This correspondence is in response your California Public Records Act (PRA) Request wherein you requested:

* All emails, all written correspondence, LAUSD representatives exchanged with FBI pertaining to a claim and the investigation of a claim published in Venice Senior High's The Oarsman in an article titled "FBI Investigating Predators Targeting Online Accounts of Venice Students", published March 05, 2021.

The District has conducted a diligent search and reasonable inquiry for the information requested and is unable to locate responsive records, as such this request will be closed.

This request includes any correspondence sent in reply and any possible initial messages sent by FBI to LAUSD in regards to a claim or any suspicion inspiring the following article in question:

As such, the claim that individuals received solicitation for money, images, in a way that constitutes a crime was committed, communication records to local law enforcement, private investigators, FBI employees/agents/contractors should be provided, whatsoever record exists.
To successfully provide your record of messages exchanged between LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) and FBI agents, employees, IC3, any contractor, investigator, police officer, names of any known victims proven to be a minor should be redacted sequentially as needed to provide the compiled records to the public.

In regards to the investigation detailed within the article referenced:

* I additionally request record of websites where alleged victim's accounts were located, and where accounts were searched for, and by whom. I am requesting record of when the accounts were accessed during an investigation, and when the accounts ceased being accessed totally by investigators. It would prove helpful to know when passwords were exchanged and how by providing correspondence record as they pertain.

The District has conducted a diligent search and reasonable inquiry for the information requested and is unable to locate responsive records, as such this request will be closed.
