Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All documents from ONLY January 1, 2023 to the present concerning the elevator at the Madison Hotel, located at 423 E. 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90014 (the "elevator"). Please note this ONLY asks for documents dated February 1, 2023 to the present, and ONLY about the elevator. This includes any of the following:
1. Applications for permits, and/or permits for any work or repairs on the elevator.
2. Orders to Comply
3. Inspection Reports
4. Emails or texts concerning the elevator to or from any of the following individuals: Robert Galardi (Housing Dept.), Tony Rosales (Housing Dept) , David Jennings (DBS), Darla Abel (DBS), Jesse Leyva (DBS), Adam Burgess (DBS), Brett Christensen (DBS), Ben Perez (DBS), Graciela Cota (DBS).
5. Any complaints made by any member of the public about the elevator.
6. Photos or videos of the elevator
7. Incident reports about the elevator
8. Applications for plan checks and/or approvals/or notices of corrections needed about the elevator
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Government Code Section 6255 provides that the public interest served by not disclosing the record clearly
outweighs the public interest served by disclosure of the record. In addition, records between
LAHD and City Attorney would not be produced because they are protected by attorney client privilege.
