To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the most recent database maintained by this agency detailing public employee compensation across the city.
I am specifically requesting that this release include, for each employee, the following: Name of Employee, Age, Gender, Ethnicity, Job Title, Agency/department, and Earnings.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
Good afternoon, Mr. Snow,
Thank you for your request. The City does not have an existing report that includes the information that you are requesting.
In regards to employee salary information, you can find on the California State Controller’s Office website 2013 salary information for Long Beach City employees. The data does not include personal information such as age.
Should you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
Would there be another office that may hold these records? Or any other way we can request they be compiled?
I’m sorry, there is no other department.
