I am requesting the following records generated on April 13th 2023 until the date this request is processed concerning the shooting of Ralph Yarl in Kansas City, Missouri at 1100 NE 115th Street, Kansas City, MO, 64155:

- Incident report(s) The police incident report is not complete and approved for reproduction yet, once approved it will only include the date/time/location/immediate facts, nothing more per missouri sunshine law 610.100, more information than that has already been released.
- 911 call log(s) this is a supplemental report and not available per Missouri 610.100 in an ongoing investigation
- CAD report(s) generated from the address of the shooting incident from the year 2020 until the date this request is processed There are no other reports at that address except for the one involving the assault in question
- 911 call audio recording(s) 911 audio is a closed record per Missouri sunshine law 610.150
- Body worn camera footage recorded by officers at the scene of the incident this is closed record per Missouri Sunshine Law 610.100 in an ongoing investigation, further since the case is charged any inquiry should be directed to the prosecutors office

If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me if the cost will exceed $10. However, I would also like to request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest. The release of the information is for non-commercial purposes. I am a researcher for Insider, a news organization based in New York City, whose mission is journalism in the public interest. This request is for news gathering purposes. I, or my colleagues at Business Insider or Insider, will use the records to inform the public through our reporting. I therefore request a waiver of all fees and charges pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law.
