Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 to 11), I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting a list of all of the National Rifle Association's lobbying expenditures in Illlinois from January 1, 2013 to March 14, 2017 that list "Starboard Strategic Inc." as a vendor. The list should include the amount of the expense, the type/purpose of the expense, and the the date of the expense.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Your request for records associated with expenditures made on behalf of officials, as required by the Lobbyist Registration Act (25 ILCS 170), by the National Rifle Association, has been reviewed.
In as much as Section 7 of the Act requires the Secretary of State to "promptly make all filed reports publicly available by means of a searchable database that is accessible through the World Wide Web.", a search for the information you seek is readily available to you on our website. You may access the necessary data by
the following search chain:
Access www.cyberdriveillinois.com<http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com>
Scroll down to Lobbyist Activities, click, then select Lobbyist Information Search;
Scroll to the bottom of Lobbyist Information Search and click Search;
Select Expenditure Report Search, then Submit;
Select the registration year and type name of National Rifle Association;
Click on the NRA link that appears;
Reporting periods for the selected registration year will appear for your review.
Each report will provide the amount reported for the period. In reports that contain an expenditure, the details of each expenditure will be available by scrolling through the pages.
In addition to searching within the Expenditure Report link, you may also be interested in another link on the Lobbyist Information Search menu. Expenditures Made on Officials will provide access to expenditure information made on behalf of any official whose name you enter for a selected year.
