Greetings,
Under the Idaho Public Records Act (IPRA) section 74-103(1) a request to examine public records must be made to the designated custodian. The University of Idaho has designated the Office of General Counsel as the custodian of records. A record is not received until and unless the custodian, Office of General Counsel, receives it through the process outlined in University policy. For your information, the University public records request policies can be found in FSH 6520<http://www.webpages.uidaho.edu/fsh/6520.html> and APM 65.03<http://www.uidaho.edu/apm/65/03>.
Requests must be sent to the Office of General Counsel either via email to counsel@uidaho.edu or via mail or hand-delivery to University of Idaho Office of General Counsel, 875 Perimeter Drive MS 3158, Moscow, Idaho 83844-3158. The requester must include their name, mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number. Requests improperly submitted are not received. Please visit the Submit a Public Records Request to the General Counsel (uidaho.edu)<https://www.uidaho.edu/general-counsel/public-record-request> link if you would like to submit your request online.
For records requests exceeding 100 pages, the requester can be charged a copying fee for each additional page requested after the 100th page pursuant to Idaho Code § 74- 102(10)(b)(i). When records requested contain nonpublic information that must be deleted, the requester may be charged actual labor costs associated with redacting the nonpublic portions of the records pursuant to Idaho Code § 74-102(10)(b)(ii). When the actual labor associated with responding to the record request, including locating and copying the records, exceeds two (2) person hours, the requester may be charged for the additional labor pursuant to Idaho Code § 74-102(10)(b)(iii).

I hope this email is helpful.
