Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting to inspect or obtain copies of all public records that detail the deleted Twitter (X) practices of the Memorial Villages Police Department. This account’s last post was a retweet from 2019 and the next most recent post was from 2018. I am researching why this account was discontinued, and to do so, I am requesting all deleted posts from this department’s Twitter (X) account between the years 2018 and 2023.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

There were no deleted Tweets on our Departments X/Twitter account between 2018 and 2023 (to Date).

There are no records pertaining to deleted Tweets or practices.

We found X/Twitter to be ineffective in communicating with our community and moved on to other avenues.
