Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

1.) Any and all police reports, complaints and narratives regarding the July 19, 2018 arrest of Joel Jimenez-Rodriguez on Alvin Road located in Grand Island, NY.

According to the media articles: "Joel Jimenez-Rodriguez, 38, of North Tonawanda, N.Y., was arrested on the evening of July 19 when police found 30 kilograms of cocaine in the back of the vehicle he was driving. More than 65 pounds of cocaine hidden in a Florida-registered Mercury Mariner SUV on Grand Island. Shortly before 7:30, officials say they saw a car hauler with several new-looking Toyota vehicles pull into the back parking lot of the Fuccillo Toyota dealership on Alvin Rd."

I have recently been appointed as the acting Officer in Charge of the Grand Island Police Department. This email is to acknowledge receipt of your FOIL request. Upon a search of our business records, the Town of Grand Island Police Department was not involved in anyway, with the incident you referenced below. The Grand Island Police Department has no business pertaining to the said event.
