Thank you for your interest in public records of Georgia Department of Corrections. Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the current contract between this Department, the state of Georgia, and Dismas Charities, Inc. Additionally, a copy of the current criminal records of individuals housed and released from Dismas Charities, Inc’s re-entry centers within the past year if available to the public. This request includes publicly available biographical information of the individuals, the contact information of the individual, the duration of incarceration, the area where the individual was released, or other related information included in the surveillance of formerly incarcerated citizens.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) received your request for a copy of the GDC's contract with Dismas Charities, Inc. and documents related individuals who have been housed there. The GDC has reviewed its files and determined that it does not possess any records of contracts with this entity, and we are unable to identify any offenders who have been in their care.
