This email is to clarify the information that you are seeking from the police department. The Public Information Act applies only to records that are already in existence and does not require a governmental to prepare answers to questions or to perform legal research. Please avoid using language such as "any and all documents."  Instead, list each and every document or record you are seeking. In your above request I've highlighted the portion of 'materials related'. Can you please clarify what is meant by materials? I also wanted to point out that the amount of responsive records to this request is well over 100 reports, which will more than likely require a cost estimate before we can proceed with processing the request. Also something to keep in mind is that sometimes domestic violence incidents where children are present or involved could potentially include Child Protection Services being  involved making the records no releasable. If you would prefer a list over the full reports that could cut out the cost and give a more statistical number.
Please clarify the request as soon as possible. If you would like for us to proceed with your request, please respond in writing to the Frisco Police Department at the address below within sixty one (61) days from 11/04/2019. If you do not respond within 61 days, we will consider your request withdrawn.
Sincerely,
Sandra Morales
