Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. All police dispatches due to Shotspotter alerts. Information should include the identifying ID to match with the Shotspotter alert, date/time received, description (if applicable), district/beat, and unit(s) dispatched.
2. All 911 calls to the police department of interest.

Please provide me with these public records in a machine-readable ASCII format, such as a CSV, SQL, TXT, or similar raw file. CSV or SQL files are preferred when available. Please email the responsive records to my email address: michaeltopper@ucsb.edu.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The City will provide a response no later than December 12, 2022. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
