Code § 2.132-4 including but not limited to: date of stop, time of stop, race of driver, gender of driver, age of driver, if search occurred, if contraband was found, anonymized officer ID, and stop location for all years available.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Because of the broad scope of the request, there would likely be a very substantial fee associated with locating, compiling, and providing the requested information to you, as authorized by the Texas Public Information Act. Therefore, rather than just sending you a very high cost estimate for the information you have requested, we would like to see if you might be interested in narrowing the scope of your request in order to decrease or potentially eliminate any costs to you while also ensuring that you receive the specific information you would like from the City. Would you be able to specify a certain time frame for which you are wanting records?
If you would like for the City to proceed with your public information request, please respond in writing to the City at the address below within sixty-one (61) days from 04/24/2024. Otherwise, the City will consider your request withdrawn.

Thank you for reaching out regarding our public information request P008746-042224 dated 4/22/2024.
We appreciate your clarification and understand the potential challenges associated with the broad scope of our request. However, after careful consideration, we would like to proceed with our original request for a tabular data file containing all information collected in accordance with Texas Crim. Pro. Code § 2.132-4 for all years available.
Furthermore, we are willing to accept the data in the form in which it was collected, whether it be from a relational database or another format, and understand that redactions can be performed at the variable level, such as hashing all officer IDs.
Given our willingness to accept the data as is and our understanding of the potential costs involved, we believe that proceeding with the full scope of our request is appropriate.
If there are any further steps required from our end to facilitate the processing of this request, please do not hesitate to let us know.
