The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Regarding the format of your request, please note that, generally, FAU must provide a copy of the record in the medium requested if FAU maintains the record in that medium, and FAU may charge a fee which shall be in accordance with Ch. 119, F.S. Section 119.01(2)(f). FAU is not ordinarily required to reformat its records and provide them in a particular form as demanded by the requestor.
FAU is committed to responding to all public records requests promptly and within a reasonable period. What constitutes a reasonable period of time may depend upon various factors, such as:
· the format, nature, and/or volume of the requested record(s);
· whether a request calls for the release of exempt and/or confidential information, wholly or in part;
· whether the requested records require redactions of exempt or confidential information;
· whether the extensive use of information technology resources or clerical services will be required;
· whether a request calls for records in the custody of multiple custodians of records, namely, different FAU departments or offices.
FAU is dedicated to a policy of openness, honesty, and cooperation. Furthermore, FAU adheres to all applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing public records, which define the parameters of legal access to information. In order to properly respond to your request, Media Relations may work with the General Counsel's Office to identify and redact/exclude any exempt and/or confidential information, and to ensure that all applicable state and federal laws and regulations are followed.
