The Office of Open Government is processing your request along with all others. We do have some clarifications we would like to make.

1. All written communications between Katie Strickland and Sketch Piers between 1/1/2021 and the present. The Office of Open Government is currently processing these records but is awaiting answers to our questions for part 3 of your request before proceeding.
2. All documents relevant to the hiring of Sketch Piers in his current capacity, including the qualifications of any other candidates considered, as well as any record of Piers' previous job performance during his tenure with the State of Florida. The Executive Office of the Governor is not the custodian of these records.
3. All allegations of misconduct, determinations of misconduct, investigations, communications or inquiries, either resolved or pending (to the extent they are public record pursuant to FL. Stat. Ch. 119) which reference Katie Strickland. Please define “communications” which reference Katie Strickland. This is overbroad. You have not listed any custodians. Any communication that references her will be extremely hard to find as well, as people could likely just reference her as “Katie” which is a very common name and the level of review it would burden us with is extreme.
4. The travel requests, approvals, calendars, and all documents pertaining to official state travel including food and lodging expenses of both Katie Strickland and Sketch Piers from the dates 1/1/2021 to the present, including prospective travel that has not occurred but has generated responsive documents as of the date of this request. The Executive Office of the Governor is only the custodian of Katie Strickland’s travel, however, DMS maintains a website in which all travel for state employees can be seen.
