To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Hello, on the 17th of June 2013 at around 2:15 am Aaron Hernandez was questioned by police officers at the North Attenborough police station regarding the murder of MR Odin Lloyd. After this interview he was seen on CCTV just outside of the police station in a car. The CCTV footage then showed Aaron breaking his phone and collecting a new phone from his lawyer. This footage was then shown at his trial.

If possible could you send me all of the video and photo evidence that was presented at the Odin Lloyd murder trial? For example footage of Aaron at a gas station before the murder, footage of Odin Lloyd being picked up by Aaron as well as footage of Aaron arriving home with a gun on him.

I also kindly ask for the footage of his police interview as well as the CCTV footage of him breaking his phone.

All in all I’d like every single video exhibit that was presented at the Odin Lloyd trial.

The reason I am asking for all of this is because I believe that there are important life lessons to be learned from this appalling crime.

Thank you for your time.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Nadim Saleh

Hello Mark,

Thank you so much for your continued partnership with this request. We are wondering if you are able to purchase a flash drive and include the cost in an invoice for us? You can then submit that flash drive to the mailing address listed below. Or, if it is possible to place those responsive files in a dropbox if your office can do so? Please advise at your earliest convenience.

Hello,

I have reached out to the Trial Court IT department to find out whether I am allowed use your link to upload the files. Once I hear from them, I will let you know.

In the meantime, if you want the files on a thumb drive, you can do one of two things. You can send us a thumb drive, and I will put the files on it and send it back to you; or, you can forward us a check for $13.82 made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (the thumb drives that we have are 16 gigabytes so I will need to use two of them and they cost $6.91 apiece), and I will load the files onto our thumb drives and forward the thumb drives to you.

Our address is Superior Court Clerk's Office, Fall River Justice Center, 186 S. Main St., Fall River, MA 02720.

I requested all of the photo/video evidence that was presented at the Odin Lloyd murder trial in which Aaron Hernandez was convicted.

Where are the files?

From: Fall River Superior Court Clerk’s Office

We mailed the two thumb drives containing the Hernandez digital exhibits to the provided address sometime mid-May, approximately May 15. I can create two more thumb drives and send them again or you can have someone come to the Clerk's Office and pick them up.

Hello,

I am re-sending thumb drives containing the requested files; they will be in the mail today (June 22, 2023). I previously sent them to the same address over a month ago.

Attached are photographs of the external yellow mailing envelope with the requested address and the internal white padded protective envelope containing the thumb drives (also with the address on it). This is the same way they were mailed the first time.

Thank you,

Thank you Mr Ferriera for your response.

MuckRock did upload some files but they were only PDF files and they were about 4GB in size. Also there weren’t any video files in the document they uploaded. I’ve reached out to them for some clarification.

Just to confirm, were the files that you sent about 20GB in size? Did they contain video files?

Thank you for your time.

From: Fall River Superior Court Clerk’s Office

Yes, there were two thumb drives containing 23.6 gigabytes of video and photo exhibits.
