Pursuant to the Delaware Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
The GIS data defining the boundaries of the school board nominating districts for each of the school districts in the state. Any shapefile/geographic data file format is fine (for example, shp, kml, geojson, etc)
The PDF maps available online are not what I'm looking for, I am requesting digital data files containing the exact boundaries for the nominating districts in machine readable format, suitable for use as a map layer.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Thanks for the response. The map layer linked only has the school board districts, not the nominating districts within each school district, which are used in school board elections. I'd like a layer containing the nominating districts. Thanks!

I am responding on behalf of Delaware State Election Commissioner Elaine
Manlove.
This email is in response to FOIA request sent to the Delaware Department of
Elections on February 13, 2019 requesting GIS data defining the boundaries
of the school board nominating districts for each of the school districts in
the state.
Through 29 Del.C. ยง 10001, public bodies are only required to respond to
FOIA requests from a citizen of Delaware. To the extent that you are not a
citizen of Delaware, the Delaware Office of the State Election Commissioner
reserves all objections.
Please note that on February 28th, 2019 we responded by providing a link to
pubicly available information.
