Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
For the period from November 1, 2014 to November 15, 2019, a list of all liens put on residents or property by Dekalb County for unpaid water bills. Please provide all available information, including the applicable resident or property owner (if possible), the relevant zip code, the amount, the date the lien was filed, the date it was approved, the date it was removed (if applicable), the specific cause of the lien, and any other available details.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

The records for this type of request are not housed in our billing system. The Georgia Open Records Act (O.C.G.A. §50-18-70 et seq.) does not require the creation of records, reports, summaries or compilations not already in existence at the time of the request.
