From: CCSO FOIAOfficer (Sheriff)

Dear Mr. Skelding:
Thank you for contacting the Cook County Sheriff’s Office (“CCSO”) pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”), 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq. (2012).
On June 2, 2014, the CCSO received your FOIA request regarding the above-captioned matter. An extension was granted on June 9, 2014.
However, at this time the CCSO again requests that you narrow your requests as compliance would be overly broad and unduly burdensome, pursuant to 5 ILCS 140/3(g).
Please note that this correspondence does not serve to waive any exemptions available to this public body under FOIA or to any discovery or evidentiary objections in any litigation involving the CCSO.
If you have any further questions or concerns related to this request, please feel free to contact me at 312-603-2791.

Sincerely,

Erica Padish
