Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

1) Emails between Cook County (@cookcountyil.gov) and the National Association of Sewer Service Companies, or NASSCO (@nassco.gov), between the dates of October 25, 2017, and April 30, 2018.

2) Emails between Cook County (@cookcountyil.gov) and Lynn Osborn (lynn.osborn14@gmail.com), between the dates of October 25, 2017, and April 30, 2018.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The Office of the President of the Cook County Board of Commissioners is in receipt of your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act (the “Act”).

On Wednesday, October 30, 2019 you requested the following:

1. Emails between Cook County (@cookcountyil.gov) and the National Association of Sewer Service Companies, or NASSCO (@nassco.gov), between the dates of October 25, 2017, and April 30, 2018.

1. Emails between Cook County (@cookcountyil.gov) and Lynn Osborn (lynn.osborn14@gmail.com<mailto:lynn.osborn14@gmail.com>), between the dates of October 25, 2017, and April 30, 2018.

Under the Act, a public body may extend the time to respond to a request by up to five (5) business days for a limited number of reasons. 5 ILCS 140/3(e). We are extending the time to respond to your requests by five (5) business days because there is a need for consultation, which shall be conducted with all practicable speed, among two or more components of a public body having a substantial interest in the subject matter of the request. 5 ILCS 140/3(e)(vii).

Please be advised that Monday, November 11, 2019 is a Cook County holiday. We will respond to your request by Thursday, November 14, 2019.
