RE: PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST of April 01, 2024, Reference # P404801-040124
Dear Katie King,
I'm reaching out to see if you have any more details regarding your request on Alan May Todd,  The records from 1990-1991 are scanned handwritten papers with no method of searching besides physically looking at each page, and there are tens of thousands of pages.
For instance, do you know what he was under investigation for? Or any dates?
If you have any questions, please contact my office at 7704993900. Thank you for your attention.

From: Katie King

Hi Lauren,

Thanks so much for getting back to me and letting me know. I have two case numbers that may be helpful in searching (90902434, 90902435) both filed on 10/09/1990. The charges should be theft and/or fraud. Hopefully this will be enough to help sort through the documents, but let me know if I can provide any further clarification.

Thanks for your help!

Best,
Katie

RE: PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST of April 01, 2024, Reference # P404801-040124
Dear Katie King,
I searched our records (which are scan handwritten reports) from that date and could not find anything. My supervisor also looked, and she can search a bit more than I can, and she couldn't find anything.
Something interesting, and maybe helpful, is that I saw that the case numbers for Cobb during that time were ten digits long and started with 10.  In one incident report (unrelated to your request), there was a supplement from Marietta police which began with 90. I'm wondering if Marietta Police worked this case.
Also, to double check (I checked for both names), the individual's name you're looking for is Alan May Todd, correct, not Allen Todd May? I googled the name you gave "Alan May Todd", and saw articles relating to a "Allen Todd May" (albeit not related to Georgia.)
If you have any questions, please contact my office at 7704993900. Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Lauren Dykes
