1. Documents sufficient to show the address, ward, and precinct of all licensed house share operators in the City of Chicago
2. Documents sufficient to show the address, ward, and precinct of all vacation rentals in the City of Chicago

I have obtained similar documents in previous FOIA requests, including ones that were granted from a previous lawsuit, so I am aware these documents are not exempt.

In the Search field on the left side of the page, you may type business licenses. The Business License datasets and the Business Owners dataset links will then display in the Results section of the screen. They are separate datasets due to the large volume of data. The dataset that will help you obtain the information you are requesting is the one labeled Business Licenses – Current Active. All new licenses have an of Application Type or Issue . Renewal records have an C_LOC of Application Type Renew . The field displays the date the license was printed and issued. Date Issued The Business License datasets contain the name of the licensee (Legal Name column) and the account number. If the licensee is a corporation or a legal entity, you may find specific owner/officer information in the Business Owners dataset.
