1. Any active shooter/active assailant insurance policies from 2021 - 2023
2. Any student safety policies related to an active shooter/active assailant 2021 - 2023
3. Public comment related to active shooter/active assailant concerns from 2021 - 2023
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Also, there is no insurance policy specifically named, referred to or that references active shooter/active assailant.
Finally, upon advice of counsel, per Nevada Revised Statute, a request must be made for an identifiable public record. It must be something that does not require the district to create data, generate new documents or organize data to create a record that does not already exist. Regarding the request for public comments related to active shooter/assailant concerns, the Carson City School District does not have a record such as what you are requesting, and creating or assembling this information would be outside of the manner in which the information is kept in our ordinary course of business.
With the above response, the district considers the request answered and will take no further action. Thank you.
