To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:
All inspection reports and Bureau Of Quality Assurance program reports for Broward County Juvenile Detention Center.
All contracts and/or agreements between Broward County and Centurion of Florida LLC.
The timeframe for records responsive to my request should be between January 1, 2012 to July 20, 2016.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the news-gathering efforts of the media organization Shadowproof.com, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.
Good day, Brian.
Are you referring to the Broward Regional Detention Center? If so, you will need to contact the center directly or the Department of Juvenile Justice. The center is not run by BSO.
