The Braintree Police Dept does not have a written policy regarding LPR use and deployment.

Data is stored for 30 days on the cruiser laptop- it is not pushed to a central server.

It is up to the officer working whether to utilize the LPR to scan for data from the weekly hotlist.

Data is not shared to any other agency as we don't have the capability of storing on a central server.

Our LPR unit has been broken since May- and therefore not used

Hello,

I am attaching the two documents we have filed with regards to usage of
the ALPR. We do not have any written policy on it's use. We have
actually have quite a bit of trouble with the unit and it has been down
more than it's been operational.
