Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, the formula we use for
the search, segregation, and copying of each requested document is $25 per
hour for staff attorneys and technical professionals. Based on a rate of
reviewing one document per minute, this charge means there is a $25 fee for
each 60 documents. In addition, the Massachusetts Public Records Law
requires the first two hours of search, segregation, and copying to be done
free of any charge. Therefore, there is no cost for the hour the technical
procurement of documents takes, or the review of the first 60 documents.

If you would like us to move forward with review of all resulting emails
from the requested search terms, the cost estimate to fulfill this request
using the above mentioned formula is $614.16.

Under the Massachusetts Public Records Law, it is your right to seek
redress through
the administrative process provided by the Office of the Supervisor of
Public Records, Office of the Secretary of State.

Please let us know how you would like to proceed.

Thank you,
Laura
