Hi Matthew, I am checking with our Internal Affairs Unit to see if you have provided enough information to conduct a search and will get back to you.  Old incident reports are stored on microfilm but we need a certain date and address to look them up.  "near a school" is not enough information for us to search. What was suggested as helpful, by our Archivist: 1. Look at newspapers from the time (free to search online through Boston Public Library at www.bpl.org) and identify names, dates, and locations, which could yield enough information to search for incident report. Once I hear back from IAD, I will touch base. If you'd like for us to search our microfilm, I will need more information. Thank you.

Matthew,
I just heard back from IAD and they do not have records from 1970's to 1980's. If you'd like for us to search microfilm, I will need more information. Please review my previous email.  I am going to close out this request as no records responsive, however if at anytime you would like to resubmit a new request for a search of microfilm, please let us know.
Thanks
