Re: Public records request dated Oct. 12, 2011

Dear Mr. Morisy,

An initial search has determined that there are no documents that pertain to "what the costs to the city were for the Tea Party Events in 2009, 2010, & 2011" in the possession of the mayor's office.

The City of Boston's Office of Administration and Finance reports that the size of these events did not mandate any special coding for overtime details for public safety agencies. Any public safety involvement in these events was negligible, if there was any.

Sincerely,

John M. Guilfoil
Deputy Press Secretary
Mayor Thomas M. Menino
