Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all communications (electronic, hard copy, or otherwise), associated attachments, and related files sent to and from any employee, representative, or other officials of the Dekalb County Police Department mentioning: “Manuel Esteban Paez Terán,” “Tortuguita,” “Tort,” between January 1st, 2021, and the date on which this request is processed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good morning,
This remains an open and pending investigation. Therefore, per the exemption provided in O.C.G.A. 50-18-72(a)(4), any communications are not subject to dissemination until the investigation is concluded and the case is no longer pending in court or on appeal. Even if the query were required, the responsive information would be excepted from production under the Act, as such disclosures would compromise our security. See O.C.G.A. 50-18-72(a)(25)(A)(ii). This request remains closed.
