Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
The number of National Guard troops stationed at the Southern Border, by month, from 2000 to June 2023. If possible, I would like data at the border sector level. Otherwise, data at the state level will be sufficient.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

I received your letter requesting records of National Guard troops. I apologize for the delay as it went to the wrong office. Any military records request must be made through the FOIA process at FOIA.gov - Freedom of Information Act<https://www.foia.gov/>. For specific border related data, the CBP would be the best route to go through.
To clarify are you looking for specific hard copy records or just the number of troops that were activated on the various border missions from 2000 to 2023?

Good afternoon,
I was able to locate the numbers you were looking for. From 2000- June 2023 we have had just over 4,000 service members mobilized in support of border operations in Title-10, Title-32 and State Active-Duty statues. I cannot break it down per section but suggest reaching out to CBP for additional information.
