- School Building Leader
- School Administrator / Supervisor
- School District Leader
- School District Business Leader
From October 15, 2017 until the date this request is fulfilled.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear FOIL Appeals Officer,
I am writing to appeal the denial of my New York Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request submitted on August 5, 2022, for copies of signed and notarized oaths of office for district employees or contractors with specific leadership credentials from October 15, 2017, until the date the request is fulfilled.
It has been brought to my attention that the requested information should not require a FOIL request to obtain. Despite this, I have submitted a formal FOIL request and have followed up multiple times with no response from the district. The dates of my follow-ups are as follows:

The lack of response and communication from the City School District of Albany exhibits a pattern of deferral and avoidance, which is in direct violation of the spirit and intent of the Freedom of Information Law. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the district's continuous disregard for transparency and the legal obligations set forth by FOIL.
I hereby request that you review the handling of my FOIL request and provide the requested documents without further delay. Under FOIL, I am entitled to a determination on this appeal within ten business days.
