1. The complete police report related to the incident that occurred on the 400 block of South Pearl Street on September 1st 2023, involving a 52-year-old Schenectady man who is charged with menacing a woman with a semi-automatic long rifle.
2. Any and all bodycam footage from officers who responded to the incident on South Pearl Street on September 1st 2023.
3. Any and all additional materials, documents, or records that may be subject to FOIL, related to this incident and any ensuing action by the Albany Police Department or other entities involved.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I am writing to clarify my Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request concerning an incident that occurred on South Pearl Street in Albany, as reported by the Times Union and News10. My original request may have contained an incorrect date, and I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Based on the news articles, the incident took place on a Thursday at approximately 7:40 p.m., either on August 31 or September 1. A 52-year-old Schenectady man was charged with menacing a woman with a semi-automatic long rifle. The man was taken into custody shortly after the incident and was found with a loaded semi-automatic rifle. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.

Given this information, I would like to clarify my FOIL request as follows:

All police reports, arrest records, and any other documents related to the incident involving a 52-year-old Schenectady man who was charged with menacing a woman with a semi-automatic long rifle on South Pearl Street in Albany, occurring on either August 31 or September 1, at approximately 7:40 p.m.
Any audio or video recordings related to the incident.
Any witness statements or affidavits related to the incident.
