Ms. Litchfield:

I just got off the phone with the state attorney's office. Thank you for the referral. Could you send an official "no responsive documents" letter for our records?

Thank you again for your quick assistance!

Best,
Shawn Musgrave

I am out of the office until Monday. If you will send me your request I will reply to you then. As you know Alabama dose not have a Freedom of Information Act. Alabama dose have a Public Records Law which is limited in scope. From review of your email it appears that you are asking for information which the Department of Public Safety is not the custodian. However if you will send me your request I will review it again. The legal units phone number is 334 242-4392.
