Pursuant to the Alabama's Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

A list of companies that have received any of the following tax incentives going back as long as such records are kept:

— Income Tax Capital Credit
— Enterprise Zone Credit
— Property Tax & Sales Tax Abatements (state level)
— “Made in Alabama” Job Incentives Act
— Full Employment Act of 2011
— Film Production Rebates

The following information for each participating company listed:

— Name of company
— Date award approved
— Full address
— Value of incentive award
— Number of jobs or value of capital investment

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The request is made by Good Jobs First, a non-profit public interest research organization, via public information service MuckRock.com for non-commercial usage. In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request.

I would prefer the request to be filled electronically in a spreadsheet format, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within ten (10) business days, as the statute requires.

Your request on behalf of Good Jobs First (Muckrock News) for information from the ADOR concerning the tax incentives authorized to Alabama taxpayers has been referred to me for reply. Specifically, you request a "...list of companies that have received any of the following tax incentives..." plus specific information on each company relating to the incentive.
Pursuant to the authority of Ala. Code, Section 40-2A-10, all taxpayer return and tax information submitted by taxpayers to ADOR are confidential and cannot be disclosed except upon order of the court. The requested information would necessarily be reported on tax returns submitted by Alabama taxpayers. Accordingly, such information is protected by the referenced statute. ADOR cannot comply with your request.
