Hello,

I just wanted to follow up with you to see whether you've seen this request. It's been over a month, and I haven't received an acknowledgment. I had an earlier request with the same title, so I'm wondering whether this new request appeared to be part of the previous, completed request.

Please let me know that you've receive it.

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Chris

Hello Dave,

Thanks for your reply, and I'm sorry for the delay in responding. Life got very hectic for a bit, but I'm back!

I appreciate your estimate for the requested records. I'm wondering, though, can you break down the cost for each item so I can better assess what action to take?

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,
Chris

Great, thanks! And, wow, you're quick!! :)

Chris,

From what I understand, the entire request was estimated at 10hrs of labor for a Sergeant to review. I’m not certain that this answers your question of the cost per item though. If you need more specific information, I would suggest that you reach out to the PIO directly for further clarificaiton . I have CC’d him on this email for awareness.

Hello Deputy Talbot,

I understand that the time for fulfilling my request is estimated at 10 hours but am wondering whether you might be able to help break down the costs for each item so I can better assess what action to take. I'm guessing that some of the questions may be more straight-forward than others.

Can you provide any clarification about what is required to process the individual items in my request?

Thank you!
Chris

From: Washington County Sheriff's Office

Thank you for your inquiry, Chris. I have contacted the detective supervisor who provided that estimate for additional information. I will contact you when I receive a response.

Thank you for your help!

From: Washington County Sheriff's Office

Hello Chris,

We are able to answer items 1 and 2 at no fee as follows:

1. We have 4 ALPR equipped patrol cars;

2. We have captured 851,484 license plates from a rolling two year report.

The cost estimate to answer the other items is $686.00. A cost breakdown would require an additional research fee and cost estimate.

Thank you,
