This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
A copy of any successful fee waiver request letters submitted by FOIA requesters. Please limit the search to requests for fee waivers, whether formal or informal, submitted between June 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is regarding your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the
US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) seeking a copy of any
successful fee waiver request letters submitted by FOIA requesters
between June 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011. A list of FOIA request

identify which requests you are seeking. In order for us to proceed
with your information request, we need you to list the specific case
numbers that you seek. We will also need your written assurance of
payment. We have estimated that the cost to process your request will
be calculated at $7.00 (15 minutes) per request case number you specify.
Please respond to us at hq.foia@epa.gov by February 17, 2012, or we will
assume that you are no longer interested in pursuing your request and
will close this case. Please refer to the FOIA number HQ-FOI-00522-12

Hi,
While my request for a media fee waiver was rejected, I am still in the media requester category and I should only be charged direct duplication costs for pages after the first 100 pages.
I narrow my request to copies of successful fee waivers requested and received in October and November 2011.
