Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
For the past 10 years, please provide all settlement agreements entered into between Huntington Park and any of its agencies on the one hand, and any Huntington Park employee or former employee on the other hand. To clarify, the amount of settlement should not be deleted.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

It is not acceptable that there will be an endless "rolling production." Your firm is in possession of the requested documents because YOUR FIRM negotiated or even signed the settlement agreements. This has nothing to do with the City's staffing shortages. This has everything to do with YOUR FIRM's cover up and unreasonable delay in order to prejudice more than a dozen current and former City Employees.
June 23, 2022 will be the last day your firm has to produce ALL of the requested records. That is the last time YOUR FIRM, which is in possession of settlement agreements -which are PUBLIC RECORD-has to produce. At that point, I will file another writ against your client, and we will seek sanctions against YOUR FIRM due to your bad faith cover up and delay.

Why did the City Attorney send me the same letter dated June 23, 2022? Why does the City attorney, who has the settlement agreements within its own possessoin, custody and control, not have copies of these agreements at their fingertips and can send them to me in less time than it takes to send me letters saying you need more time? Is it because the City Attorney is attempting to obstruct evidence for the upcoming trial of four former employees against the City of Huntington Park, where the City Attorneys are implicated in a pay-to-play scheme?
