To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
All arrest and incident reports related to the long-term investigation into allegations of human trafficking, prostitution, and other vice related violations, as described in the attached press release. Please note that this is not solely a request for the three individuals arrested at Club Sirens, but for all arrest and incident reports from the broader, long-term investigation.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.
Sincerely,
Shawn Musgrave

Attached is a copy of all arrests that have been done by our Human Trafficking Unit. Per the sergeant in that unit, there has never been an arrest out of Siren's, located at 6190 Cleveland Ave.

Hi Amy -
Thank you for sending this spreadsheet, which is very helpful.
Which entries in this spreadsheet correspond to the charges of "Illegal Sexually Oriented Activity in a Sexually Oriented Business"? Per the press release from earlier this year, your agency made numerous arrests utilizing this law since last fall.
Thank you again for your help.
Best,
Shawn

It was probably unwise to put that on the press release because we don't keep track of misdemeanors in that fashion. The actual report in our system is a miscellaneous offense and that covers thousands of incidents of varying types. It is possible that the Franklin County Clerk of Courts may keep those stats but I wouldn't count on it. You could give them a try.
Thanks,
A. Morris
