Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 to 11), I hereby request the following records:
According to a recent report from the Department of Justice on CPD's Use of Force:
"First, we reviewed thousands of pages of documents provided to us by CPD, IPRA, and the City, including policies, procedures, training plans, Department orders and memos, internal and external reports, and more". Therefore, I am any any index listing record provided to the DOJ as part of the civil rights investigation. Also I am requesting a copies of all requests for records issued by the DOJ.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. Please be aware that this request is being filed by the Lucy Parsons Labs, a registered non-profit in the state of IL
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
