From: Ava Sasani
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide all documents related to the Boston Public Health Commission to give final approval to the “BU Biolab” also known as “NEIDL BSL-4 Lab.” The decision is referenced in this article:
https://www.bu.edu/articles/2017/neidl-bsl-4-lab-approved
The Boston Public Health Commission’s decision was released in December 2017, but please provide all documents--including memorandums, official communications, reports--that occurred between January 2013 and December 2017, pertaining to the decision to approve the NEIDL BSL-4 Lab.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I'm following up on the following Massachusetts Public Records Law request, copied below, and originally submitted on July 2, 2019. You previously indicated that it would be completed on Aug. 7, 2019. I wanted to let you know that I am still interested in the following documents, and to see if that date was still accurate.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
