Once upon a time a local reporter tried to access what should have been readily available public documents from the Wareham Police Department, only to gain little access and a lot of pushback from the Chief. Fours years later, and a partial release of civilian complaints shows how Wareham PD still needs to be dragged kicking and screaming into compliance with the Public Records Law.
