Question about request: FOIA log for March 2013

I’m looking for advice to reduce the fees on this request. So far I have the following thoughts:

  1. Ask for a detailed breakdown of estimated fees.
  2. Ask for electronic (scanned) documents rather than paper records.
  3. Reduce the scope of the request to a single document, so that I can see perhaps one without any fees.

Any other suggestions welcomed.

All of these sound like sound strategies – in particular, asking for electronic records has been successful in the past. Typically, FOIA logs are spreadsheets, anyway.
